For certificate recipients:

• If you receive a certificate link, you can enter your name to personalize it
• This happens in your browser only—we do not collect, store, or transmit names

For billing:

• We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles all payment card information directly—we never see or store your full payment card information.
• We store a Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription

When you contact us:

• Your name and email address
• Any information you choose to include in your message

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the certificate-making service
• Send certificate access links via email to recipients you specify
• Manage your subscription status
• Send you important account updates (such as billing notifications or service changes)
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to anyone
• Share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes
• Share your information except as described in this policy

3. Service Providers We Use

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate EZ Certificate Maker:

• Firebase (Google) — Stores your account data and certificate content and data and provides authentication
• Stripe — Processes subscription payments
• SMTP2GO — Delivers certificate access link emails to recipients

These providers only access your data as necessary to provide their services to us and are bound by their own privacy policies.

4. Data Security

We take data security seriously and use industry-standard measures to protect your information:

• All connections to our site use HTTPS encryption
• Passwords are encrypted using Firebase Authentication
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant systems

While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but work diligently to protect your data.

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can access your data at any time by logging into your account

6. Data Retention

We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking purposes. Firebase may use cookies for authentication and service functionality.
